โ Sourced record
โน Added from a recordHer death entry (Evie and Rendall, Orkney, 1879) gives 9 December 1879 at Vinquoy, parish of Evie, aged 73, widow of Thomas Wood, seaman (merchant service). It names her parents as George Robertson, fisherman, and Rebecca Anderson. Aged 73 gives a birth about 1806 and her family seems to have been Orkney people, so the Lanarkshire birth in the tree is doubtful.

โ Where was she born? The tree has her born about 1803 in Lanarkshire. Age 73 gives 1806, and her father was a fisherman with a nephew still in Orkney, which points to an Orkney family. Her children were born in Lanarkshire from about 1820, and she married Thomas Wood in Dundee in 1817, so she may have left Orkney young.
โน Her husbandThomas Wood is described as a seaman in the merchant service and was dead by December 1879.
