â¹ She is already in the treeHannah is Hannah Speirs (P343), born about 1879, a daughter of Robert Speirs and Maggie Hendry. An age of 36 in 1915 fits that birth. The GEDCOM has her only as "about 1879" with no marriage.
â A second Hannah Spiers in the exportThe 29 October 2026 export of the Ancestry tree has a Hannah Spiers born about 1857 with just a mother, Maggie Hendry. That is the same person, with a birth year that cannot be right (her parents married in 1873), so no second Hannah was added.
â¹ Her mother's second marriageHer mother is named as Margaret Duff, formerly Spiers. Maggie Hendry therefore remarried, to a Mr Duff, before 1915. She died on 18 January 1918.
â¹ Two entries on the pageThe marriage below this one (entry 120, William Walker and Margaret Main) is unrelated.
